Who We Are

What is the PAC?

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is the official collective voice of the parents and guardians of Walter Moberly Elementary School students. The PAC’s key role is to “advise the Board, Principal and staff of the school respecting any matter relating to the school.”

The PAC consists of all parents and guardians of Moberly students and is run and managed by elected parent/guardian volunteers known as the PAC Board.  The PAC is recognized and complies with BC’s School Act, Section 8.

The goals of the Moberly PAC is:

  • To enhance our school community and improve the lives and development of our children;

  • To provide opportunities to educate and inform parents about the school;

  • To involve parents in volunteer activities that benefit our school and kids;

  • To run family-friendly events and raise funds to support our school and kids;

  • To provide an opportunity for a positive, collective voice for parents.

We encourage all parents and guardians to attend our PAC  meetings and volunteer to help with planning, coordinating and fundraising for various school events and activities throughout the school year. Check out our volunteer section for how to!
